Books for Bread Kenya, is a charity raising money for children in Kenya
Our aim is to show the love of God by providing healthcare, promoting learning and alleviating poverty in Kenya.

Gates of Joy
One of our projects is to help the children in The Gates of Joy.
The centre was used during the day as a school for approximately seventy pupils. We have so far raised enough money to build the children a library and a kitchen as well as supplying the books and kitchen items that they need. Tell me more
How can I help?
We currently have use of two of the units in the In-Shops at Chester-le-Street.
We sell a wide variety of good quality items that are donated to us by local people and businesses. We are there 6 days a week 9.00am until 4.30pm and would love to see you, you may just grab a bargain! Tell me more.

Information Sheet
We produce an information sheet to keep everyone up to date with recent and future fundraising events. As well as letting you all know exactly what we are doing for the children of Kenya with the monies that you have helped raise.
